Privacy Policy

PrintCleric ("we", "us") is operated by Shane Nelson. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.

Photos you upload

When you request a diagnosis, your photos and the details you enter (printer, resin, what you saw, notes) are sent to OpenAI for analysis. We do not store your photos on our servers; they are processed in memory and discarded after the diagnosis is returned. OpenAI processes them under its own API terms and data policies. Don't upload photos that show people or private information.

Account and usage data

If you sign in, we store your email address, how many diagnoses you've used and whether you have an active subscription. To prevent abuse we keep short-lived counters tied to your IP address. Sign-in uses a one-time email link sent through Resend.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we only receive your email, a Stripe customer ID and your subscription status.

Newsletter

If you join the newsletter, your email is stored in Resend so we can send occasional updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Hosting and cookies

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. No ad trackers.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account data at any time. We don't sell your data.

Contact

Questions or deletion requests: contact Shane Nelson, the operator of PrintCleric (a dedicated support address is coming soon).
